Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of HTE VAR, LLC for furnishing maintenance on the IBM I Series Server for a total net sum of $14,975.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing I Series 400 server maintenance for the Information Services Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of HTE VAR, LLC be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Services Division has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the need to have the company that installed the equipment also provide the maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 20, 2004 submitted by HTE VAR, LLC for furnishing maintenance on the I Series 400 server for the period 12/20/04 through 12/19/05 for the total net sum of $14,975.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter a contract for the aforesaid services.
