Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Purple Cow Organics, LLC, for providing yard waste management services for a five year period for an estimated sum of $1,022,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for providing yard waste management services for the Department of Public Works of the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Purple Cow Organics, LLC, be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated April 1, 2015 submitted by Purple Cow Organics, LLC, for removal and disposal of approximately 6,275 tons of leaves and garden debris for $131,775.00 and 2075 tons of branches and brush for $72,625.00 for a total estimated sum of $204,400.00 for the period through December 31, 2015 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1262 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that both parties may mutually agree to renew this contract for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods for an estimated cost of $817,600.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
