Resolution transferring $16,000 from the Contingency Fund to the Police Department Overtime Budget for additional enforcement efforts on Hwy. 100.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of providing additional enforcement efforts on Hwy. 100 on Friday and Saturday nights; and,
 
WHEREAS, the cost of said overtime for the Police Department is $16,000; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Police & Fire Commission has informally suggested that the Police Chief direct this request to the Common Council; and,
 
WHEREAS, funding for the overtime costs is available in the City's 2004 Contingency Fund.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that $16,000 is hereby approved for transfer from the City's Contingency Fund to the Police Department overtime budget for additional enforcement efforts on Hwy. 100.
