Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for an estimated cost of $109,900.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering diesel and unleaded fuel for the period August 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Lakeside Oil Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Lakeside Oil Co. for furnishing and delivering approximately 40,000 gallons of diesel fuel and 45,000 gallons of unleaded fuel for the estimated sum of $109,900.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order for the aforesaid services.
