Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering fire hydrants for a total sum of  $151,200.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for fire hydrants for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of HD Supply Waterworks be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 11, 2013 submitted by HD Supply Waterworks for furnishing and delivering one hundred twelve (112) 2013 Mueller Centurion A423 fire hydrants at $1,350.00 each for a total sum of $151,200.00 in accordance with RFP 1182 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
