Title

Resolution Authorizing and Directing the City Engineer to Pay For Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repairs at 1805 South 69^th Street in the Total Amount of $6,812.79.

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has a long standing policy of the City's responsibility for making repairs to sanitary sewer laterals from the point of connection to the main sanitary sewer line up through the riser connection; and,

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has determined that the sanitary sewer lateral at 1805 South 69^th failed at the connection to the main sanitary sewer based on field observations by Engineering Department staff; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized and directed to make fair payment for the repair work to Badger Plumbing the amount of $6,387.50 and to the property owners, Jeff & Linda Parmann, in the amount of $425.29 from the appropriate City account.
