Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Florida Micro for providing internal and external security cameras for City buildings for a net sum of $41,784.70.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received quotes for furnishing security cameras for various buildings of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached tabulation were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Florida Micro be accepted; and,
WHEREAS the total cost of $41,784.70 includes multiple city funding sources, plus proper internal transfer of Public Work's operation and maintenance accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 22, 2009 submitted by Florida Micro for furnishing security cameras for the total net sum of $41,784.70 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
