Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group for furnishing and delivering two (2) pickup trucks for a total sum of $57,723.00.

Body

WHEREAS the Purchasing Division has reported that it has received a proposal through the State of Wisconsin Contract #15-07006-400 for furnishing two (2) trucks for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Automotive Group, the State of Wisconsin contract holder be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 7, 2016 submitted by Ewald Automotive Group for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2016 Ford Super Duty F250 SRW 2WD regular cab for $23,126.00 and one (1) 2016 Ford Super Duty F-250 SRW 4WD regular cab for $34,597.00 for a total net sum of $57,723.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
