Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing and delivering five (5) Ford pickup trucks for a total sum of $152,527.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing five (5) trucks for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Ewald Hartford Ford for four (4) Ford F250 4x4 longbed pickup trucks for $28,857.00 and one (1) Ford 16,000 GVW 4x4 cab & chassis for $37,099.00 for a total net sum of $152,527.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
