Title

Resolution relative to deleting the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual No. 1460, Residency, under Human Resources.

Body

WHEREAS, in order to comply with State budget provisions pertaining to residency, it is recommended that Policy No. 1460, Residency, under Human Resources be deleted; and

WHEREAS, the City's residency policy is deleted in its entirety with the understanding that Police & Fire "emergency" personnel (using applicable perimeters) are covered by contract and/or RMC Sections 4.22 and 5.16 for all "sworn officers" (with the understanding that "sworn officers" includes Police & Fire Administrative positions).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy No. 1460 be deleted from said City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that directions concerning deletion of said policy be communicated to all departments, divisions, and offices.
