Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Neher Electric Supply for furnishing aluminum street light poles for a total sum of $23,642.40.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing street light poles for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Neher Electric Supply be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 9, 2004 submitted by Neher Electric Supply for furnishing and delivering sixty (60) 30' single arm bronze pole and bracket arms for the total net sum of $23,642.40 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #820 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid supplies.
