Title
Resolution approving an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan for FY2013 relative to decreasing the funding of the S. 60 St. Gateway activity by $75,000 and decreasing the funding of the Six Points/Farmers Market Parking Facility activity by $100,000.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council approved funding for a S. 60 St. Gateway activity (2006 funds) and Six Points/Farmers Market Parking Facility activity (2011 funds); and,
 
WHEREAS, the S. 60 St. Gateway project has identified or leveraged other private resources to complete the project and no longer requires CDBG funding; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Six Points/Farmers Market Parking Facility project was completed in 2012-2013 and project costs came in under the projected budget of $350,000, leaving a balance of $109,223.59; and,  
 
WHEREAS, the balances associated with these projects will be transferred to the 2013 Skate Park Project; and,  
 
WHEREAS, the transfer of funds meets the CDBG eligibility requirements; and,
 
WHEREAS, the Director of Development recommends the transfer of the funds.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, that an amendment to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan for FY2013 relative to decreasing the funding of the S. 60 St Gateway activity by $75,000 and decreasing the funding of the Six Points/Farmers Market Parking Facility activity by $100,000, is hereby approved.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Skate Park Project be increased by $175,000.
