Resolution Relative to Vacation and Discontinuance of a Street Right-of-Way South of West Maple Street Between South 88th Street and South 90th Street.

WHEREAS, the public interest requires that a Street Right-of-Way South of West Maple Street between South 88th Street and South 90th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated March 20th, 2007, File No. Y-1159, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be discontinued and vacated; and,
WHEREAS, this Resolution was introduced before the Common Council of the City of West Allis on May 1st, 2007; Notice of Pendency of the Resolution to vacate the aforesaid Street Right-of-Way was filed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County on May 2nd, 2007; and Notice of Hearing was published in the official City newspaper on May 24th, 2007, May 31st, 2007, and June 7th, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, no sufficient written objection to the vacation and discontinuance was filed with the City Administrative Officer, Clerk/Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, in accordance with the authority vested in the Common Council by Sec. 66.1003, Wisconsin Statutes, that a Street Right-of-Way South of West Maple Street between South 88th Street and South 90th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated March 20th, 2007, File No. Y-1159, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby vacated and discontinued, as required by the public interest.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certain public utility easements for gas, water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and electric, upon, along, through and under the parcel of property shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated March 20th, 2007, File No. Y-1159, which is attached hereto and incorporated by re...
