Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Gutermann for furnishing and delivering one Correlator Water Leak Detection System for a total net sum of $26,500.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it has received proposals for a Correlator Water Leak Detection System for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Gutermann be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Water Division of the Public Works Department brought in three vendors for demonstration of their units and determined that the Gutermann Aquascan outperformed the other two units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated November 12, 2014 submitted by Gutermann for furnishing and delivering one Aquascan 610 digital multi point correlator for $22,500.00 and one (1) Aquascope-3 acoustic ground mic/listener combo for $4,000.00 plus a 2-day training session for the total sum of $26,500.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
