Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Intergraph Corporation for furnishing GIS software and software maintenance for a total sum of $8,503.80.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing GIS software and maintenance for the Information Services Division of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Intergraph Corporation be accepted; and,

WHEREAS, the Information Services Division has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to a preference for having maintenance performed by the equipment manufacturer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Intergraph Corporation for furnishing GIS software and software maintenance for the total net sum of $8,503.80 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid services.
