Title

Resolution relative to accepting  the proposal of Dell Computer for furnishing seventy (70) personal computers for a total sum of $44,579.50.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for furnishing and delivering personal computers for various departments of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Dell Computers be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated October 20, 2006 submitted by Dell Computers for furnishing and delivering seventy (70) Dell OptiPlex 745 personal computers for a total net sum of $44,579.50 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
