Resolution authorizing TN & Associates, Inc. to proceed with phase II of the Professional Services Contract for Engineering Services for the National Avenue flood abatement and intersection design at a total cost not to exceed $125,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of West Allis has entered into agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) for the reconstruction of the National/Oklahoma/Root River Parkway intersection and flood conveyance structure at Root River Parkway; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council previously awarded the consulting services contract to TN and Associates upon recommendation of the evaluation team which included members from WisDOT and MMSD with Resolution R-2004-0057; and,
WHEREAS, the consulting services contract was broken down into two phases, phase I being the preliminary design and evaluation and phase II being design and construction; and,
WHEREAS, phase I is almost complete and per the consulting services contract with TN and Associates, the City must authorize phase II to begin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the City Engineer be directed and authorized to allow TN and Associates to begin phase II work in an amount not to exceed $125,000.
