Resolution Relative to Vacation and Discontinuance of Public Off-Street Parking North of West Cleveland Avenue between South 84th Street and South 85th Street.

WHEREAS, the public interest requires that Public Off-Street Parking North of West Cleveland Avenue between South 84th Street and South 85th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated June 9th, 2004, File No. Y-1142, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be discontinued and vacated; and,
WHEREAS, this Resolution was introduced before the Common Council of the City of West Allis on April 5th, 2005; Notice of Pendency of the Resolution to vacate the aforesaid Public Off-Street Parking was filed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County on April 5th, 2005; and Notice of Hearing was published in the official City newspaper on April 27th, 2005, May 4th, 2005 and May 11th, 2005; and,
WHEREAS, no sufficient written objection to the vacation and discontinuance was filed with the City Administrative Officer, Clerk/Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, in accordance with the authority vested in the Common Council by Sec. 66.1003, Wisconsin Statutes, that Public Off-Street Parking North of West Cleveland Avenue between South 84th Street and South 85th Street, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated June 9th, 2004, File No. Y-1142, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby vacated and discontinued, as required by the public interest.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certain public utility easements for gas, water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and electric, upon, along, through and under the parcel of property shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated June 9th, 2004, File No. Y-1142, which is attached h...
