Resolution to amend Resolution R-2024-0261 adjusting the contract amount for GeoTest, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, Resolution R-2024-0261 was approved by Council on May 21, 2024, giving the City Engineer authority to enter into a service contract with GeoTest, Inc. for the new DPW Facility in the amount of $95,253; and
WHEREAS, the amount approved in the resolution was an estimate and the final amount came in higher at $113,917;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:
1. That the award under Resolution R-2024-0261 to GeoTest, Inc. is hereby amended to be $113,917.
2. The sum of $113,917 will be appropriated from an allocation from federal ARPA grant, cash on hand in capital projects and utility funds as well as debt financing. Costs will be charged under project number NEWDPW, unless otherwise assigned by the Finance Department.
3. That the City Attorney and City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to make such non-substantive changes, modifications, additions and deletions to and from the various provisions of the Contract, including any and all attachments, exhibits, addendums and amendments, as may be necessary and proper to correct inconsistencies, eliminate ambiguity and otherwise clarify and supplement said provisions to preserve and maintain the general intent thereof, and to prepare and deliver such other and further documents as may be reasonably necessary to complete the transactions contemplated therein.
