Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of JX Peterbilt-Waukesha for furnishing one 54,000 GVW Cab & Chassis for a total sum of $131,720.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering one (1) 54,000 GVW Cab & Chassis to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received as shown on the attached bid report was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of JX Peterbilt-Waukesha be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated September 14, 2013 submitted by JX Peterbilt-Waukesha for furnishing one (1) 2014 Peterbilt 320 for $131,720.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1207 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
