Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works/Engineering to accept the sole source proposal with Honeywell International, Inc. for purposes of updating our heating and ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) systems in an amount not to exceed $22,000.
Body
WHEREAS, the HVAC systems located at City Hall and at the Department of Public Works be updated with HVAC compatible software systems to support the existing Honeywell, Inc. equipment at various City locations; and,
WHEREAS, Honeywell, Inc. proposes to furnish and install an Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) system server at a new computer workstation within the Department of Public Works and also allow remote access; and,
WHEREAS, the HVAC software modifications will improve efficiency and communication with all existing Honeywell, Inc. HVAC equipment within the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the amount not to exceed $22,000 be and is hereby approved to be funded through the appropriate, budgeted Public Works account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the negotiated contract on behalf of the City of West Allis.
