Resolution to approve bid of Visu-Sewer, Inc. for the installation of sanitary and storm sewer lining, sanitary sewer spot lining, sanitary sewer grouting and sanitary manhole lining and grouting at various locations within the City of West Allis, in the amount of $192,223.50.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid Visu-Sewer, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 24 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Visu-Sewer, Inc. for 2017 Project No. 24 for:

 

the installation of sanitary and storm sewer lining, sanitary sewer spot lining, sanitary sewer grouting and sanitary manhole lining and grouting at:

Various locations in the City of West Allis, Wisconsin

(PLAN FILE NOS. S-1588 & X-863)

for the sum of  One Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand, Two Hundred Twenty-Three and 50/100 dollars ($192,223.50)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds and Storm Water Management Funds.
