Resolution Relative to the Vacation and Discontinuance of a Public Alley off of South 81st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, the public interest requires that a Public Alley off of South 81st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated January 20th, 2011, File No. Y-1175, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be vacated and discontinued; and,

WHEREAS, this Resolution was introduced before the Common Council of the City of West Allis on February 1st, 2011; Notice of Pendency of the Resolution to vacate the aforesaid public alley was filed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County on or about February 2nd, 2011; and Notice of Hearing was published in the official City newspaper on March 10th, 2011, March 17th, 2011, and March 24th, 2011; and,

WHEREAS, no sufficient written objection to the vacation and discontinuance was filed with the City Administrative Officer, Clerk/Treasurer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, in accordance with the authority vested in the Common Council by Sec. 66.1003, Wisconsin Statutes, that a Public Alley off of South 81st Street and South of West Greenfield Avenue, shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated January 20th, 2011, File No. Y-1175, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby vacated and discontinued, as required by the public interest.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certain public utility easements for gas, water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and electric, upon, along, through and under the parcel of property shown and legally described on the map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated January 20th, 2011, File No. Y-1175, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, and rights incidental thereto, a...
