Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Holtz Motors for furnishing and delivering five (5) 2006 Chevrolet Impala squad vehicles for a total net sum of $97,920.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for five (5) 2006 Chevrolet Impala squad vehicles for the Police Department of the City of West Allis; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Holtz Motors be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Police Department has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to past performance of this vendor in regards to ability to accurately fill our orders, high-quality products/options, access to vehicle specialists, support and excellent service. Price is $50 below State of Wisconsin Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated February 13, 2006 submitted by Holtz Motors for furnishing and delivering five (5) 2006 Chevrolet Impala squad vehicles for the total net sum of $97,920.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
