Resolution relative to an agreement between the City of West Allis and the West Allis/West Milwaukee Family Resource Center for the provision of the Brighter Futures programs and services.
Body
WHEREAS, the West Allis Police Department, West Allis Health Department and the West Allis-West Milwaukee Family Resource Center have formed a partnership to seek grant funds from the Brighter Futures program.
WHEREAS, the partnership has been successful in obtaining a grant in the amount of $75,000 from Brighter Futures.
WHEREAS, a subgrantee-agreement has been drafted between the City of West Allis and the West Allis-West Milwaukee Family Resource Center for the transfer of the Center's share of the awarded funds.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that an agreement between the City of West Allis and the West Allis-West Milwaukee Family Resource Center for the distribution of grant funds, a copy of which agreement is attached hereto and made part hereof, is hereby approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of West Allis hereby authorizes and directs the City Health Commissioner to sign the aforesaid Contract Agreement.
