Title

Resolution relative to amending the City of West Allis Policies & Procedures Manual No. 855, Moving City Owned Buildings and No. 857, Razing Buildings Not Public.

Body

WHEREAS, Policy No. 855, Moving City Owned Buildings and No. 857, Razing Buildings Not Public, were originally included in the City of West Allis  Policies and Procedures Manual under the City Attorney - Real Estate Agent on January 1, 1982; and,

WHEREAS, the elimination of the Real Estate Agent position makes it necessary to revise said policies to reassign certain duties of the Real Estate Agent to the Department of Building Inspections and Neighborhood Services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that Policy No. 855, Moving City Owned Buildings and No. 857, Razing Buildings Not Public, be renumbered and revised to eliminate all references to the Real Estate Agent and be approved as presented in the attached restatements.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of said policies be distributed to all departments, divisions, and offices.
