WHEREAS, The West Allis community plans to celebrate West Allis Ala Carte, and West Allis Ala Carte is planned to be a family oriented event including a variety of Downtown West Allis Business Improvement District and other West Allis restaurants, live music, food vendors, children's games, artists, baking contest and City Hall activities, and
WHEREAS, West Allis Ala Carte is scheduled for June 7, 2009 between Noon and 6:00 P.M.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Common Council of the City of West Allis declares West Allis Ala Carte a community event and permits the possession and consumption of fermented malt beverages on City streets within the Business Improvement District boundaries on June 7, 2009 between Noon and 6:00 P.M.
