Resolution relative to transferring $140,206.00 from the Contingency Fund to the Police Department Automotive Capital Account for purchasing four (4) Police Cars and two (2) Police SUV’s from Ewald Automotive Group.

WHEREAS, the order will be placed in 2015, funds will need to be placed in the 2015 budget due to contractual agreement; and,
WHEREAS, Ewald Automotive Group, the State of Wisconsin contract holder will provide pricing for 2016 Police vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 10, 2015 submitted by Ewald Automotive Group fur furnishing and delivering four (4) 2016 Chevrolet Impala Police 4-door squad cars for $83,976.00 and two (2) 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles for $56,230.00 for a total net sum of $140,206.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $140,206.00 be and hereby transferred from the Contingency Fund to the Police Automotive Account 100 2101 521 7002.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Contingency Fund will be repaid a like sum from the 2016 Police Department Automotive Capital Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid vehicles.
