WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of United Sewer & Water, Inc. for 2004 Project No. 11 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of United Sewer & Water, Inc. for 2004 Project No. 11:

 

Sanitary Sewer Relay in

S. 82 St. from 290 ft. north of W. Orchard St. to W. Orchard St.

W. Orchard St. from S. 80 St. to S. 82 St.

S. 80 St. from W. Greenfield Ave. to W. Orchard St.

for the sum of Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($285,889)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds.
