Resolution to approve bid of Arteaga Construction, Inc. in the amount of $259,000.00 to replace the condensing unit at the Health Department located at 7120 W. National Avenue and the air conditioning unit at the Senior Center located at 7001 W. National Avenue in the City of West Allis in accordance with the plans and specifications on file.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of Arteaga Construction, Inc. for 2013 Project No. 7 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Arteaga Construction, Inc. for 2013 Project No. 7 to replace the condensing unit at the Health Department located at 7120 W. National Avenue and the air conditioning unit at the Senior Center located at 7001 W. National Avenue in the City of West Allis in accordance with the plans and specifications on file for the sum of Two Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand and 00/100 dollars ($259,000.00)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by the balance sheet account assigned for Public Works Capital Internal Building Rehabilitation.
