Title

Resolution relative to the transfer of up to $165,000 from the Land & Building Fund to the Capital Projects Fund for the paving and grading expenditures at the Waste Incinerator Building Demolition.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Waste Incinerator Building at 5100 West Rogers Street is planned to be demolished to eliminate certain blighting conditions; and,

 

WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are being used in the approximate amount of $350,000 for the actual blight elimination; and,

 

WHEREAS, there are other related costs to this project, such as paving and grading, that need to be funded by a revenue source other than CDBG funds; and,

 

WHEREAS, there is money in the City's Land & Building Fund that can be allocated for this purpose.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that up to $165,000 is hereby approved for transfer from the Land & Building Fund to the Capital Projects Fund for the purpose of providing the financial resources necessary for the paving, grading, and such other limited expenditures at the Waste Incinerator Building Demolition.
