Resolution relative to accepting the proposals of various suppliers for furnishing imaging hardware, software and workstation for a total estimated sum of $29,150.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for imaging hardware, software and workstation so that the City of West Allis will be capable of processing imaging requirements internally, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposals of CDW-G, Dell, NewEgg, C & H Distributor, Corporate Express and Public Works be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, $61,838 is budgeted and available in the Purchasing Division's designated account for capital accumulation for this city-wide centralization imaging/scanning support.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposals submitted by CDW-G for two (2) i260 Kodak scanners, software, maintenance and training for $14,550; Dell Computers for two (2) computers for $2,600.00 and a server for $7,000.00; NewEgg for two (2) monitors for $800.00; C & H Distributors for a portable workstation for $800.00; Corporate Express for a HON workstation for $1,600.00 and the Public Works Department for construction costs of $1,800.00 for a total net estimated sum of $29,150.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid materials.
