Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Printing & Business Solutions for furnishing and installing one (1) Reconditioned Offset Press for $12,300.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing and installing one (1) Reconditioned Offset Press for the Purchasing/Central Services Division of the City of West Allis, to be located in the Print Shop of City Hall, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Printing & Business Solutions be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing/Central Services Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection because of the cost savings for buying a reconditioned press.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated September 19, 2006 submitted by Printing & Business Solutions for installation, delivery, set-up and training for one (1) Reconditioned AB Dick 9870 offset press for the total net sum of $12,300.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
