Resolution approving the execution of an Agreement between the City of West Allis and John Vukelic, d/b/a Crawdaddy's, LLC., for the partial reimbursement of exterior building improvements in the sum of $1,838.56, under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)-funded Commercial Facade Improvement Program.
Body
WHEREAS, since 1988, the City of West Allis has operated a Commercial Facade Improvement Program whose purpose is to provide financial incentives for businesses and property owners to renovate and restore the facades of their buildings in designated commercial districts targeted for revitalization and redevelopment; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed renovation plan for the commercial property at 6414-16-18 West Greenfield Avenue, owned by John Vukelic, has been recommended by the Department of Development; and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to enter into a Commercial Facade Improvement Contract which spells out the obligations of the property owner and the City, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the Director of Development is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid contract on behalf of the City of West Allis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-eight and 56/100 Dollars ($1,838.56) be and is hereby appropriated from the CDBG funds to pay the liability incurred under the aforesaid contract by the City of West Allis.
