Resolution to approve bid of Butters-Fetting Co., Inc. to furnish and install the air conditioning and heating unit in the Council Chambers and Art Gallery at the West Allis City Hall at 7525 West Greenfield Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $70,150.00.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of  Butters-Fetting Co., Inc. for 2017 Project No. 20 be accepted.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of Butters-Fetting Co., Inc. for 2017 Project No. 20 for furnishing and installing the air conditioning and heating unit in the Council Chambers and Art Gallery at:

 

West Allis City Hall

7525 West Greenfield Avenue

 

for the sum of Seventy Thousand, One Hundred Fifty and 00/100 dollars ($70,150.00)

 

be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding from the Capital Improvement Fund for Buildings and Facilities (354-6051-517.31-01)
