Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Midwest Media Group for furnishing and installing one (1) NewTek TriCaster and accessories for a total sum of $25,988.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received proposals for Broadcast Equipment for the Cable Communication Office of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Midwest Media Group be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated July 27, 2010 submitted by Midwest Media Group for one (1) NewTek TriCaster Model TCXD850; one (1) NewTek LiveControl 11 external switcher; two (2) HP LA2405wg 24" Widescreen LCD Monitors; installation and training for a total net sum of $25,988.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
