Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing and delivering four (4) vehicles for a total sum of $78,316.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a joint proposal through V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government for furnishing and delivering vehicles for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Ewald Hartford Ford be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal submitted by Ewald Hartford Ford for furnishing and delivering one (1) 2008 Ford Econoline Cargo Van for $15,786.00, two (2) 2008 Ford Escape 4x4 for $16,397.00 each and one (1) 2008 Ford F250, 8600 GVW 4x4 diesel, long bed pickup truck for $29,736.00 for a total sum of $78,316.00 in accordance with V.A.L.U.E. in Local Government Bid #0804 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
