Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of HTE VAR, LLC for furnishing maintenance on the IBM iSeries Server for a total net sum of $15,995.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing hardware and software maintenance on the iSeries server for the Informations Services Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of HTE VAR, LLC be accepted; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing/Central Services Division of the Department of Administration & Finance has determined that this contract is inappropriate for competitive selection due to the need to have the company that installed the equipment also provide the maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 22, 2005 submitted by HTE VAR, LLC, for furnishing maintenance on the iSeries 400 server for the period 1/1/06 through 12/31/06 for the total net sum of $15,995.00 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
