Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Badger Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing two (2) 10’ Stainless Steel Dump Bodies for a total sum of $134,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for two (2) 10’ Stainless Steel Dump Bodies for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Badger Truck Equipment be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated June 24, 2015 submitted by Badger Truck Equipment for furnishing and installing one (1) 2015 Rowe DBA2000 10’ Stainless Steel Dump Body and Plow Hitch for $58,200.00 and one (1) 2015 Rowe DBA2000 10’ Stainless Steel Dump Body, Plow Mount and Patrol Wing for $75,800.00 for a total sum of $134,000.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1283 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
