Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Crescent Electric Supply Co. for furnishing and delivering street lighting cable for a total sum of $41,294.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering 5000 volt street lighting cable for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Crescent Electric Supply Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated March 21, 2011 submitted by Crescent Electric Supply Co. for furnishing 20,000 ft. Basic Wire #15-9150 No 8 AWG direct burial street lighting cable for a total net sum of $41,294.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1122 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid material.
