Resolution relative to the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a t-shaped alley between S. 90 St. and S. 91 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., as well as  the remaining approximately 291’  of S. 90 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., which leads into the Aurora West Allis Medical Center.

 

Body

WHEREAS, as part of a request by the owner, the City is considering vacating a t-shaped alley to make way for a proposed parking structure expansion of the Aurora West Allis Medical Center Parking Structure located at 2349 S. 90 St.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Notice of Hearing for the Vacation and Discontinuance of a t-shaped alley between S. 90 St. and S. 91 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., as well as  the remaining approximately 291’  of S. 90 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., which leads into the Aurora West Allis Medical Center be published in the official City newspaper on January 28, 2016, February 4, 2016 and February 11, 2016, and that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on March 1, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; that a copy of the aforesaid Notice be served or mailed more than thirty (30) days prior to the Hearing in the manner prescribed by the law, to the owners of all of the frontage of the lots and lands abutting upon the said portion of a street proposed to be vacated and discontinued.
