Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment, Inc. for furnishing residential waste carts for the net sum of $15,600.00.

Body

WHEREAS, the Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it has received a proposal for furnishing and delivering residential waste carts and repair parts for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received was reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Bruce Municipal Equipment, Inc. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 19, 2003 submitted by Bruce Municipal Equipment, Inc. for furnishing and delivering one hundred (100) 95 gallon residential carts, two hundred twenty-five (225) 65 gallon residential carts, and seventy-five (75) 35 gallon residential carts for a total net sum of $15,600.00 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
