Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Wausau Equipment Co. for furnishing and delivering four (4) truck snow plows for a total sum of $36,760.00.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing & delivering truck snow plows to the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Wausau Equipment Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated May 1, 2014 submitted by Wausau Equipment Co. for furnishing four (4) 2014 Wausau Equipment Co. #HSP4211H 11' Severe Duty Polyethylene Truck Snow Plows for a total sum of $36,760.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP 1238 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
