Resolution to approve bid of UPI, LLC for the installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer, storm sewer relay, storm sewer, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in South 57th Street from the North City Limits to West National Ave in the City of West Allis in the amount of $1,613,042.90.

WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works reports that it duly advertised for bids for the furnishing of certain materials and the performance of all work required for the improvements in a certain area as hereinafter described; that the bids received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable and hereby recommends and deems it to be for the best interests of the City of West Allis that the bid of UPI, LLC for 2013 Project No. 1 be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Common Council of the City of West Allis that the bid of UPI, LLC for 2013 Project No. 1 for:
installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, miscellaneous walk repair, driveway replacement, sanitary sewer relay, sanitary sewer, storm sewer relay, storm sewer, water main relay, building services and utility adjustments in:
South 57th Street from North City Limits to West National Ave.
PLAN FILE NOS. SP-1182, U-2568, U-2569, U-2570, U-2571, W-1311, W-1312,
W-1313, S-1473, S-1474, S-1475, S-1476, S-1477
for the sum of One Million Six Hundred Thirteen Thousand Forty-Two and 90/100 dollars ($1,613,042.90)
be accepted, and the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contractual relations with said contractor for the performance of said work, in accordance with the prices submitted in their proposal and with the specifications of the City of West Allis, and that all other bids received for same be rejected; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That said improvements be installed with funding by Sanitary Sewer Funds, ...
