Resolution relative to the Vacation and Discontinuance of a t-shaped alley between S. 90 St. and S. 91 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., as well as the remaining approximately 291' of S. 90 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., which leads into the Aurora West Allis Medical Center.

Body
WHEREAS, the public interest requires that a t-shaped alley between S. 90 St. and S. 91 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., as well as the remaining approximately 291' of S. 90 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., which leads into the Aurora West Allis Medical Center, shown and legally described on Exhibit A map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated November 11, 2015, also known as File No. Y-1189, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be vacated and discontinued; and,

WHEREAS, this Resolution was introduced before the Common Council of the City of West Allis on January 19, 2016; Notice of Pendency of the Resolution to vacate the aforesaid portion of public street right-of-way was filed with the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County on or about October 1, 2013; and Notice of Hearing was published in the official City newspaper on January 28, 2016, February 4, 2016 and February 11, 2016, and that the Hearing be scheduled before the Common Council on March 1, 2016, at 7:00 p.m.; and,

WHEREAS, no sufficient written objection to the vacation and discontinuance was filed with the City Clerk.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis, in accordance with the authority vested in the Common Council by Sec. 66.1003, Wisconsin Statutes, that the t-shaped alley between S. 90 St. and S. 91 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave., as well as the remaining approximately 291' of S. 90 St. south of W. Lincoln Ave. which leads into the Aurora West Allis Medical Center, shown and legally described on Exhibit A map of the City of West Allis Engineering Department dated November 11, 2015, also known as File No. Y-1189, which is attache...
