Title

Resolution to transfer of $30,000 from the Contingency Fund to the Professional Services Litigation Account for Legal Services related to the Fire Union Labor Negotiations Arbitration.

Body

WHEREAS, the Administration & Finance Committee has previously authorized the expenditure of certain funds for professional legal services related to the Fire Union Labor Negotiations Arbitration; and,

WHEREAS, the firm of Von Briesen & Roper, S.C. has been providing said services; and,

WHEREAS, it is necessary to specify in the letter agreement with said firm the maximum dollar amount of said services; and,

WHEREAS, it is necessary to formally appropriate said funds for this purpose.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis that $30,000 be transferred from the City's Contingency Fund to the Professional Services Litigation Account for legal services related to the Fire Union Labor Negotiations Arbitration.
