Title

Resolution authorizing and directing the Director of Public Works/City Engineer to enter into a lease with American Tower for a portion of Klentz Park for installation of a communication tower.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of West Allis owns Klentz Park surrounded by W. Dryer Place, S. Van Dyke Place, W. Cleveland Avenue and S. 72^nd Street, and,

WHEREAS, the City desires to grant to American Tower an option to lease from the City a portion of the park, together with easements for ingress and egress, for the installation and maintenance of communication facilities including a tower and other related structures.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of West Allis as follows:

1.      That the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, with the concurrence of the City Attorney, or his designee, is hereby authorized and directed to take any and all actions on behalf of the City of West Allis which they deem necessary or desirable in connection with executing the lease and easement documents, and any other related documents per the conditions outlined in the Lease Agreement.
