Title

Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Neher Electric Supply Co. for furnishing and delivering Street Lamps for a total sum of $25,153.20.

Body

WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for furnishing and delivering street lamps for the Public Work's Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,

WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Neher Electric Supply Co. be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated September 14, 2010 submitted by Neher Electric Supply Co.for furnishing 1200 low pressure sodium lamps for $16,524.00 and 1332 high pressure sodium lamps for $8,629.20 for a total amount of $25,153.20 in accordance with City of West Allis RFQ #1095 be and is hereby accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
