Resolution relative to accepting the revised proposal of Alltech Elevator Inc., low bidder for furnishing material and labor for the modernization of the elevator at City Hall for a total sum of $33,800.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing/Central Services Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal for elevator modernization at City Hall for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposals received as shown on the attached bid report, less cost for work which will be performed by the Department of Public Works were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, The Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Alltech Elevator Inc. be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the revised proposal dated July 18, 2007 submitted by Alltech Elevator Inc. for furnishing elevator modernization including the solid state controller, door operators and compliance with ADA requirements for a total sum of $33,800.00 in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #954 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing/Central Services Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid service.
