Resolution relative to accepting the proposal of Utility Sales & Service for furnishing and delivering two (2) Articulating Aerial Lifts for a total sum of $220,342.00.
Body
WHEREAS, The Purchasing Division has reported that it duly advertised a request for proposal fur furnishing and delivering two (1) Articulating/Telescoping Aerial Man Lifts for the Public Works Department of the City of West Allis, that the proposal received as shown on the attached bid report were reasonable; and,
WHEREAS, the Common Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of West Allis that the proposal of Utility Sales & Service be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of West Allis that the proposal dated December 3, 2015 submitted by Utility Sales & Service for furnishing one (1) 2016 40’ Versalift SST-40EIH aerial device & Brand FX BFXB-60DLS fiberglass service body for $60, 303.00 with a 2017 Ford F550 4x2 cab & chassis for an estimated cost of $32,373.00 for a total sum of $92,676.00 and one (1) 2016 47’ Versalift VST-47I aerial device and Alum-line flatbed for $92,552.00 and a 2016 Ford F550 4x2 cab & chassis for $35,114.00 for a total sum of $127,666.00 for a total net sum of $220,342.00 all in accordance with City of West Allis RFP #1300 be and is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Purchasing Division be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the aforesaid equipment.
